Absint kit
Een professionele kit waarmee je een liter absint maakt. De absint zal hetzelfde smaken als de originele drank zoals die in de 19e en 20e eeuw gedronken werd.

This is absolute bullshit.
I myself am an Absynthe-drinker for a long time now, and I don't mean the crap you get from a supermarket.
The 'ritual' with the fire was never used in 'the old days' and is a useless invention from the 21st century czech absynth drinkers which caramelizes the sugar and therefor does no justice to the original bsynthe-flavour you get from the sugar and the absynthe which crystallizes and creates a milky white or green colour.

So good advice, when you want to try it, order an extra kit to keep in your cellar for a while.

“The described "absinthe ritual" is total bull. In the actual absinthe dilution, which some people do call a ritual, no fire whatsoever is involved. Only cold water is poured into absinthe through the optional sugar cube so, that the resulting drink is about 1/3 absinthe and 2/3 water, which causes the dissolved essential oils in the alcohol to crystallize and form a milky color. And you cannot get proper absinthe with this crappy set without repetitious soaking and distillation, and probably not even then, sorry. What you get is closer to czech absinth (note the absent "e"), which is only waste of alcohol.”

“Of course it doesn't work, absinthe is a distilled drink which you can't make yourself. If properly distilled, it does not contain much thujone. And even if it contains thujone at levels beyond what is legally allowed, you won't hallucinate. Get yourself informed before buying this kit! This has nothing to do with real absinthe as it was made nearly a century ago!”

de kruiden in de absinth, en je hebt de anijs-smaak en de absinth-werking.. heerlijk..”

“tijdje geleden deze kit besteld, aangemaakt in een fles Royalty Wodka
na ongeveer 4 dagen was de absinth klaar. het ritueel met suiker en ijswater is niet van toepasssing op deze absinth, hij is erg geel/bruinig en de suiker doet de bitter smaak niet verlichten. ook veranderd de kleur niet van gelig/bruin naar troebel wit.
ook zul je van 1 glaasje niet zo veel merken. de fles is 700ml is nu tot 150ml leeg verspreid over ongeveer 2 1/5 maand. en de glaasjes die ik nu neem hebben wel degelijk een "psychodelisch" effect attans op mij. ik wordt er stoned-achtig dronken van (niet te verwarren met stronken zo ver gaat het niet)
ook zijn er visuele hallucinaties, verschijvingen in bijv. schilderijen.
regelmatig gebruik (maar met mate, 1 a 2 glaasjes per week) versterkt het effect.
4 sterren, als het niet zo'n vreselijke bittere smaak zou hebben 5 sterren.”
