Nog een mooie soort uit de subtropische gebieden van Mexico. Deze soort produceert truffels, ook wel bekend als Philosopher's stones.

“I prepeared 10 agar cultures for sectoring, waited and still waiting, the miscelium's been expanding too slow and a little yelowish, but still rizomorfic in some sectors. After a month of headakes I could only made one sectoring, and lately I found maybe is the temperature (25-26 ºC : 77-78.8 ºF). I'll try again from the begining but this time at room temperature (20-23). Give me luck!!!”
