I smoke it by itself in my bong actually. and it does produce a mild marijuana like high, although not at all the same as weed. it does hella mellow you out just by its self. and 1 hit is enough, smoke it too much outta a bong and i start to gag! i like as tea almost more because the effects last longer ingested and if you add a little honey its actually really yummy and sweet! i know understand what people are talking about damiana being bitter, its really that bad.”

“es hält was es verspricht! als tee ist es wiederlich zu trinken, da schaff ich nicht allzu viel. aber wenn man es raucht, entfaltet es seine wirkung: ein ganz leichtes high für ungefähr ne halbe stunde, man ist schön gechillt und mehr oder weniger unmotiviert sich zu bewegen. trotzdem vorsicht: wenn ich das zeug rauche(ungefähr 0,2g in ner pfeife) werde ich unglaublich geil, obwohl ich kein wirkliches verlangen nach sex habe. in der öffentlichkeit den konsum vielleicht runterschrauben. wirkt auf jeden fall aphrodisierend!”

“well...I ordered some shredded damiana due to some reviews I read on the net. I smoked without tobacco and it gave me a really pleasant high....comparable to cannabis but softer. it is ok to chill out in the evening and listen to some music and jut relax. really nice stuff.
I also tried some damiana tee combined with catnip. it tates ok if you put some honey in....and it gives a nice feeling...all in all is damiana worth a try!!!! ”

“i'm using damiana as an alternative to tobacco right now. it's great. it's not addictive, it calms me down, and it lets me take a break from work while i smoke it. it works well in cannabis spliffs and its a lot cheaper than tobacco. it makes me a little nauseous, though, if i drag on it too hard because it tastes a little like soap. i dont recommend it as a marijuana substitute, though. it's weak and mellow and the effects wear off pretty quickly. when i'm smoking at work, though, that's a good thing.”

“I first smoked some Damiana with a friend of mine and he said it created some buzz comparable to marijuana. It was a soothing experience and I bought my own bag of Damiana a few days ago.

I must say that it's not a marijuana-like high, but very relaxing nonetheless. At the moment I'm smoking my second Damiana joint of the day and I must say I like it a lot. You don't get stoned, you're still able to function normally, but it makes me really mellow. I like the herbal taste a lot and it's smooth on the lungs. Definitely worth your buck.”

“I bought Damiana some time ago and smoked it solely by itself for the most part, and on occasion with cannabis. The taste was pleasant, unless you cough while inhaling. For the love of god, don't cough. It's probably one of the worst tastes ever, next to making dream herb tea. I found it had a mildly relaxing effect, and never having smoked a cigarette, I couldn't compare it to tobacco for you. But as previously stated, considering the price it is worth the buy. I had a half ounce about a year ago, and I still have a little in the bag.”

“It´s not bad. To me who´s not a habitual smoker, it has an effect similar to tobacco, but stronger. Together with a few beers it gives a nice high with tobacco. On it´s own it has a horrible taste. Considering the price it´s definetively worth buying. 100g lasts for ever. A pinch of it in a joint or a pipe gives a nice effect.
I made the mistake though, of buying the powdered form which is difficult to smoke.

“I smoke Damiana once or twice a day (filtered and machine rolled) because I gave up smoking some time ago, but still occasionally feel like smoking, and a Damiana cigarette is way better than buying a packet of tobacco.

I used to mix it with the more powerful stuff, because I considered it a filler (alternative to tobacco). However I later realised the light relaxation I was getting was coming from the the Damiana itself, so now I just roll it alone.

I know people claim you get no high from smoking it, but it must be a personal thing, because I definitely get a relaxation effect, and so do other friends of mine.”

“Geeft een beetje aparte flow, je wordt er wat loomer van, dus wel lekker ontspannen. Maar als je het wilt roken zou ik het poeder niet nemen, maar gewoon heel kruid. Ik vond het oplossen in pure alcohol beter voor het effect dan consumeren door het in te nemen met eten, of opgelost in thee. Roken doe ik niet en in de vapo gaf het niet echt veel effect voor mij. Beter dat je er een tonic van maakt met pure alcohol dus.”

“Ganz netter Effekt wenn man das Pulver mit Shisha-Tabak mischt. Lässt sich super einkneten und dann, natürlich mit den richtigen arabischen Kohlen (bloss nicht die selbstzündenden Chemie-Dinger verwenden) rauchen. Gibt ein sehr gedigendes, zufriedenstellendes, leichtes High. Allgemein gute Stimmung macht sich breit und der Geschmack ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Im sexuellen Sinne ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Hab im Anschluss versehentlich die Shisha-kohlen quer übers Bett gepfeffert und bin trotzdem cool geblieben. Normalerweise wäre ich mega-mässig ausgerastet. Auch jetzt beim Tippen hab ich noch ein fettes Grinsen im Gesicht. Also in der Shisha isses echt top. Im Joint brennt das Pulver leider nicht so gut weg. The best explaination is that it puts your brain in a bubble. Smooth smoke, especially if smoked with filter. Sweet pungent aroma so it raises eyebrows if smoked in a public place.
6+ cigarettes will hold for an evening with alcohol. ”
