PvdA: 'hef paddoverbod op'

PvdA kamerlid Lea Bouwmeester pleit voor voor het terugdraaien van het paddoverbod. Volgens haar blijkt het verbod niet effectief genoeg en wordt het echte probleem niet aangepakt.

De politica is van mening dat combigebruik van drugs en alcohol onder toeristen het ware probleem is, en niet zozeer specifiek het gebruik van paddo’s. “Dat blijkt uit het feit dat bij drugsgerelateerde zaken nog altijd 95 procent van de ambulances uitrukt voor jonge buitenlandse toeristen die aan combigebruik doen.”

Net zoals eerder al door Job Cohen werd geopperd, wil zij de verkoop reguleren en een bedenktijd instellen.

“Dan zou je een driedagentermijn kunnen instellen voor toeristen die paddo’s gebruiken. Die mensen krijgen dan drie dagen bedenktijd om informatie te verzamelen over het gebruik van paddo’s. Ook zou je een leeftijdsgrens kunnen instellen en voorlichting kunnen verplichten."

Onlangs maakten ook GroenLinks en D66 duidelijk dat zij tegen een verbod zijn, en meer voelen voor een gedoogvergunning of regulatie.

Vandaag (woensdag 14-10) vergadert de Tweede Kamer over het paddoverbod.

Well for 1 i'm happy for this, but on the otherside i'm mad that this is once again in the news.

Every fucking mushroom except the sclerotia is banned, except for homegrow.
I'm happy with that for i can still grow and therefore still use every shroom.
Alcohol, tabacco and weed is also beeing supressed by Klinks ashole politics.
But now this hippy politician of the BACKSTABBING PvdA is bringing this IN THE NEWS and trying to be popular, by saying it's also the cause of other drugs and alcohol.
And since minister Klink is a fucking jack-ass, it wouldn't surprise me that he will ban EVERY DRUGS, COMPLETELY!

Leave it alone and fuck the tourists!
The shroom is holy and not some tourist attraction.

Ja ik was al bang dat dat krankzinnige, delirische, onrechtvaardige besluit de paddo te verbieden langzaam door iedereen geaccepteerd zou worden.

Maar het verbod is zo slecht nog niet. Zo kunnen onintelligente dwazen die naar een KICK zoeken paddos geen slechtere naam meer geven. Het is toegestaan ze zelf te kweken, dus mensen die om intelligente, verantwoorde intentie paddos gebruiken moeten ze gewoon zelf gaan kweken.

Zo snel zal dat niet gaan.

Reken er maar niet op, zeker niet zolang alleen de oppositie het niet eens is met het verbod verandert er niets. De rechtse regeringspartijen willen alleen maar meer verbieden, Fred Teeven ziet de truffels het liefst ook zo snel mogelijk uit de schappen verdwijnen.

I get the impression that this 3-day wait policy is not necessarily just acting to encourage people to re-think their decision, but is probably more realistically a way or trying to prevent the use of mushrooms by touristy types, by requiring planning. After all, wasn't it some stupid French tourist who killed herself that lead to people taking notice of the the "possible harm" when used by people who shouldn't be using them..?

But personally, I find the whole scenario incredibly hypocritical in light of Hollands justification for allowing the sell of Cannabis - that it is a health issue (not criminal) and since its negative effects are fairly small in scope that its better to regulate things (as they do somewhat with Cannabis) instead of outright prohibiting them. I mean, is that just me, or shouldn't mushrooms fall into that same philosophy..?

Good. I believe alcohol combined with mushrooms can be really messed up, not from personal experience but I have had friends do this and it was not pretty

I listened to the last hour of the debate.

'We' basically got our ass kicked. They're happy that mushrooms are illegal and want the world to know that Holland is not a country where things
like that are easily accessible anymore.

If we want change we need to be better organised.

Hmm I've mixed feelings about this one. I like the idea of shroomz getting legal again (I live in Belgium so next door paddo shoppin is naice xD) but at the other hand. I like the way it is now. No more negative news about drug tourists not knowing anything about shroomz mixing them with all kind of stuff and freaking out. Thats not so naice. And concidering you can still grow them it's actualy very handy if you really want the shroomz you got to put some work in it. And you have more time to read up about, think about it (you should actually do it before buying the growing supplies but ye you know some ppl are kinda impulsive :P). But still legal shroomz would be naice to. Cause growing can sometimes get you a whole lot of more shroomz then needed. And keeping/drying them is not always that easy for everyone. So ye really mixed feelings with this.

Where was this lady when they implemented the ban??Sometimes I get cynical and I think the only reason why these politicians say they're against the ban is they know the f***ing EU will never let it be overturned anyhow :(
