(no tobacco, or at least as little as possible, using small rice papers for smoking and no large papers due to saturation of poisons in big/large joints. Which "you" then burn and inhale.

My experience with the vaporizer and cannabis:

When i first used the volcano i set it to six, after searching on the internet for some hints from other volcano owners and reading up on the properties of most cannabinoids.
At six (190degrees celsius), it basicly will vaporize all three major compounds (thc, cbn and cbd) + terpenoids (which give most flavor).

I noticed immediately that when the balloon was filled up, the vapor was very clear. I inhaled the lot in a few goes, and i got pretty much nothing. Maybe some extra clear mind from the cbd (cannabidiol, which is NOT a sedative) surely nothing more.
Well now, the problem is that the THC resin evaporates as last:
(or in this case at least too slow!)

THC's boiling point is 200 degrees celcius.
THC's melting point is obviously lower then this.

CBN (cannabiniol)'s boiling point is 185 degrees celcius.
CBN's melting point is 77 degrees celcius.

CBD (cannabidiol)'s boiling point is somewhat lower then 185 celcius.
CBD's melting point is 66 degrees celcius.

So the balloon fills up like so:
terpenoids -> +CBD -> +CBN -> +THC.

There was my problem! The balloon would fill up before the percentage of THC vapor was good according to my standards,
because THC needs a little bit more heat. Compare it to water:
Leave a jar of water outside, and eventually it is all eveporated.
BUT, put it on a heater and as soon as it reaches boiling point
it will start producing vapor like crazy, evaporating everything off pretty fast!

So, i put the temperature of the vaporizer at eight and a half
(this is about 215 degrees celsius), waited for the temperature to get high enough, turned on the air pump, waited for the vapor, hooked up the balloon and it filled rapidly with white vapor.

It hit me pretty good and surely there were THC effects this time! I was stoned from my vaporizer for the first time!

I could then extract another balloon of vapor which was not that good as the first even after mixing the weed in the chamber. I solved this by adding more weed to begin with, so i can axtract heavy vapor twice from one filled chamber. This would probably be 0.3 - 0.4 grams per fill up.

My vaporizer, after these few month is set to eight and a halve constantly, which is pretty hot and nearly the maximum but evaporates pretty much most resins all at the same time fast, even though they have different boiling points. They will not burn because they evaporate first, and with these low temperatures (about 215 celsius) they can't be burned. Even if they could be burned (which they can't!) the air pump would blow them into the balloon before they burn anyway!
I have never coughed from this vapor, at most
just a tiny but pleasant tingling.

I do have experienced that fresh weed (dried three or four weeks) is very sharp on the throat. Weed that layed around for about half a year is perfect. Very soft and smooth but yet dense vapor with a nice taste to it. The taste of vapor is much different from smoke but still very good!

So there you have it. My experience with the volcano easy valve, and it is good! I like it very much, and i don't like many things for using weed. But this is reccomended for every hardcore weed smoker or anyone who fears smoke but wants to use cannabis
AND be able to dose it properly.

Very effective, very economical and excellently constructed. It looks like a cool piece of gear, and it _is_.

Had a Vapir before, which was pretty disappointing (zero effect and had to suck the tube for ages to get it) but the Volcano actually _works_.

I use about as much material as needed to cover the vaporization chamber for about 75% to 10% of its surface. Using setting "7" twice and maximum after that gives three balloons full with enough vapor to get 1-2 people pretty slammed (using nice material, although it'll be even more effective with -say- dutch plant material)

Vaporizing seems to release relatively more THC than other cannabinoids, so the high is more hashish-like than grass-like.”

way to smoke it. My lungs dont like it anymore.
The volcano is definetly that better way.
I think it is an elegant solution ( with the bags )
The effect is very good , the taste is much better than a joint
or a bong.
Now i can sit next to my girlfriend ( she's a non-smoker) with a
bag and she will not complain anymore about smoke that
fills the chamber.
It is expensive so i hope i can use it a long time.

Hoewel het aangenaam kan zijn om sterk geconcentreerde witte damp te inhaleren (vanwege het sterke effect) is het moeilijk dit in de longen te houden. Dus voor de Volcano Classic zou je de temperatuur op stand 5 of 6 moeten zetten, vanaf stand 7 wordt de kans op hoesten groter.]”

“I ganja smoke daily (that's it) and the Volcano Digit is a great thing! Don't throw away your bongs, just used simultaneously...

Pros:
-Less weed for more "smoking" time
-Euphoric high for longer
-Control your weed concentration
-Less coughing BUT you still cough for those concentrated hits
-The box comes with EVERYTHING you need: perfect sized box to carry, grinder, extra filters, liquid filters, brushes, and the best part.... a bag that you can cut into smaller extra bags or you can make one HUGE 20 foot bag for a party!!!! ;)
-Great construction, already dropped mine off a table twice and just rolls around (I break $300 Roors monthly so this has paid off already!)

Cons:
- Won't get hit hard like a bong, not bad if you're old & sick haha
- Dry mouth
- Electricity needed: if you're trying to be secret it is problem
- I call the volcano the "science project" and I never did good in school, so after a few bags and you're totally high, you start failing, for example, forget when to stop the air & you forget to put on the screens and weed flies everywhere hahaha”

After a few weeks of using it, I decided to put it on a higher temperature (7 rather than 5), which gives much stronger effects, similar to the good old bong hits. I usually fill up two balloons at once, turning off the heating element halfway the second. I then take these balloons wherever I wish to go: the kitchen, livingroom, bathroom, garden etc. It is indeed much gentler on my throat, something I notice when I do hit the bong every now and then. Sometimes coughing occurs with the Volcano too, but it's less common (especially when vaporizing at lower temperatures), and may have to do with the expectorant effects of THC itself. The best thing about buying the Volcano was that someone I knew who just couldn't tolerate smoke, could now experience and appreciate the beneficial effects of ganja. ”

“I'm using my Volcano for 4 months now on a daily basis and I am very happy with it.
My blunts are usually loaded with 0.8grammes of herb and I use approximately the same amount for the Volcano.
If you are not satisfied with the results, try this:
Set the Volcano to 6.5, let it heat up, then put the filling chamber on top and switch on the fan.
Don't connect the balloon until you can see dense vapor (looks like smoke) coming out of the chamber, this could take 15 seconds or more.
After seeing smoke, connect the balloon, let it fill up, then enjoy.

Before filling the balloon for a second round, use a screwdriver and stir the herb a bit, then put it on top of the Volcano.
This time it will take less time until you see dense vapor.
Inhale and repeat the procedure in order to fill up the balloon for a third round.

My experience is that the bag needs to be filled with white vapor in order to have a good effect.
If it's more or less clear, then the herb was packed too tightly or the balloon was connected to the filling chamber before the chamber reached the required temperature. Usually I get three balloons filled up from a single chamber.”
