It was my first trip ever. Normally I was going to trip on shrooms but my friends had ordered Peyote and I really wanted to trip so I just did it. We were at my friends home and first we grinded the peyote and then we cooked some soup from it. The soup was the dirtiest thing I had ever tasted but nevertheless I drank it all with some honey. I almost had to puke but I could overcome the sickness and learned to enjoy my sickness.

Then we sat in some chairs and lay in beds and stuff and we could slowly feel ourself slipping away in some sort of trance state. Goa music is really good for this period of the trip and everything feels like an orgasm. Then we went outside and we really started to trip. I walked on rainbow bridges and the trees started to move and I could see the growing and shrinking very fast and over and over again.

I don't know how long we laid there on the ground but after a while we started walking in my friends garden. I thought I was a giant and I could see entire landscapes on the ground and I could jump over them. We had some good laughs and I saw some cool stuff like little people walking in the woods and some gigantic dog and my friend looked like a hybrid between Brad Pitt, an evil clown and a leprechaun.

Then we decided to go back inside. The next thing that happened was that we could see that everything was infinite and brightly coloured and we could like go into everything. We listened to Jimmy Hendrix wich was realy great end we started to draw living things on the wall with wasco's. A cat came in and started licking my hand and it gave me orgasms and the cat looked like a rainbow and I could see the life in it.

After all we half woke up from the trip and I clearly noticed that my perception has changed.It was the best experience of my life and I'm surely going to do this again.

I had an extremely similiar experience on my first peyote trip. Almost to the tee, it's been hard for me to explain exactly what was going on in my head but this brings back alot of memories.

Doing peyote alone is ok. The good thing about peyote is it makes you really mellow. You're not likely to go outside and walk around and get yourself in trouble. Peyote is the most spiritual of the hallucineginics. In fact, many people don't even consider it a drug but rather they believe that it was a plant put here by the Gods. Try taking peyote and connecting with the Divine or what the Native Americans call "The Great Spirit". So powerful is the peyote experience, and I do call it an experience and not a trip, that many Indians use it at their church services.

Last night, a couple of friends and I tripped on peyote on sacred indian ground. It's this place called Massacre Canyon in Southern California. A long time ago, indians inhabited the canyon and thrived off of a sacred cactus that grows there. Anyway, I guess white people invaded and a huge massacre happened, so this place has the most intense vibes I've ever felt, even without peyote. We were tripping out a little bit, dancing around the fire and doing yoga. I didn't feel the peyote too strongly, I just felt extremely in touch with myself and the Earth. "Grounded." Around two thirty in the morning when the moon had disappeared behind the canyon and we were running out of fire wood, we decided to hot box the tent. We smoked and we all felt the peyote really, really strongly. There were a couple of vultures that we couldn't see, but could hear circling above us. We were singing and laughing and being crazy, but when we finally calmed down a little bit and layed down I hear my friend David say, "Caleb look at this..." Caled said, "Whatever man." David sounded freaked out and was like, "No, dude, PLEASE look at this." We all sat up and looked out of the net of the tent at the sky and saw VERY distinctly what we thought was a UFO. It was a circular yellowish light with too large of an orb to be human and some kind of light coming off of the bottom of it onto the groud. As soon as I saw it I got an indescribably strong instinctual fear in my stomache, I felt like throwing up and couldn't look at it. I wrapped myself in my sleeping bag and tried to calm myself. David and Caleb were still watching it and I was scared shitless so I told them we should all just go to sleep. We all seemed to slip into some sort of meditational trance state for I don't even know how long, occasionally hearing the sound of rocks falling in the distance, and constantly hearing the screeching of the vultures. When we heard something metal fall near us, I said I was scared again, and Caleb told me that whatever was going on was just a spirit, then it just stopped. The noises hushed and the light was gone. David said he was watching it the whole time, and that it sort of just flew away. I don't know what to think of this... even now as I write this I'm shaking... I can't really describe the feelings I felt... Ughh.. Has anyone ever had some sort of UFO encounter on peyote? Help me!!

sir, ive never done peyote, but this is just giving me teh chills. ive been doing a bunch of research on the mayans, they all did peyote and aparently connected to outer world spirits through it, what makes me compelled to write this is they say in 2012 (although I know a lot of peoel dont believe this stuff, i didnt either at first) when teh world ends supposedly, these "gods" will come back, and specifically in their prophecy they mention a "ufo like object" and dude i totally believe everything you said and am now going to seek out peyote, thank you so much for writing this
